Day 01: Sapa/Lao Cai - Can Cau Market - Bac Ha (L, D)
Pick up at Lao Cai station or your hotel in Sapa and then depart to Bac Ha district (70km from Lao Cai and 110km from Sapa) to visit Can Cau market, which is located in the remote mountainous area near the Chinese border. Can Cau ethnic fair is small yet picturesque and perfectly unexplored! The Flower Hmong minority is the major ethnic group here and their richly decorated and colorful dresses create beautiful picture. Almost every Saturday, around 8 different minorities from near and far gather in this market for trade. After visiting the market, we turn back to Bac Ha town for lunch. The afternoon is devoted to an excursion to the village of Ban Pho. Overnight at hotel in Bac Ha

Day 02: Bac Ha Market - Lao Cai - Sapa/Lao Cai (B, L)
After breakfast we will visit the Sunday market in Bac Ha, the Vietnam’s largest montagnard ethnic fair with all ethnic groups in the region coming, not only to exchange products but also to exchange their culture. Most still use horses to carry their loads and they have to depart very early to get there in time. Their colorful costumes turn the market into a blooming flower forest. Stroll around the market to get a glimpse into hill tribal culture. We will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and then leave Bac Ha to visit Trung Do village inhabited Tay ethnic group. We then take a boat trip on Chay River to explore the beautiful Fairy Cave. Return to the vehicle for transfer to Sapa or to Lao Cai train station, according to your choice. End of our services.
